Solo Riders - Rugby Club Team Challenge - Relay Riders
The Great British Bike Ride in 2014 will be staged from Scotland to Twickenham Stadium from Tuesday, Tuesday 2nd – Saturday September 6th 2014. The five day ride is designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a real challenge and at the same time raise some much appreciated funds for a highly deserving rugby charity. If you want to raise funds for for your own charity or cause then please feel free to do so. There is no minimum that you need to raise just enjoy the GBBR 2014 experiance.
Competitors competing in the five day ride will have all accommodation, facilities, food and support provided on route. The GBBR Team aim to take care of everything so that Riders can just concentrate on the event and enjoy the huge challenge ahead of them.
The event concludes with a unique grand finale parade around Twickenham Stadium in front of a capacity crowd at the Aviva Premiership Rugby “London Double Header” on September 6, 2014.
All 'overnight stops’ will be hosted by local rugby clubs and a tented village will be ready and waiting at the end of each day, with hot food, drinks and the hospitality that only rugby clubs can offer. This exciting event is designed for all competitors to have fun; meet new friends and get a real sense of achievement by competing in and hopefully finishing, The Great British Bike Ride. So, if you think you have what it takes to face the challenge of The Great British Bike Ride, then sign up now and we will see you at the first camp in Carlisle on Monday, September 1. 2014 registration day. We will be transporting you all and your bikes to the start in Scotland on Tuesday morning. Entry fee £499 paid instalments.
The GBBR is a great challenge and a very forgiving route.
